The Red Statement Blazer

April 5, 2017

I for one am a sucker for a blazer; I have a dozen different colours/styles hung up in my wardrobe (or say packed in my suitcase, depending on where I am jetting off to).

And lets be honest, we all love the classic black blazer. I mean, it is sophisticated, timeless and forever classy…how can it ever do you wrong? BUT now summer is approaching I think it is time to give the loyal black blazer a well deserved rest and maybe swap it for a statement piece instead… how about RED?

This is one of favourite blazers I bought from Zara not so long along. I like to style around the blazer or even rock it as a suit (I have the matching trousers of course).

OHHH and I don’t suggest walking around in nothing but a bikini and your blazer… just like I did for one of my most recent photo shoots. It was a lot colder than it looks… trust me.

New wave of brave brides

October 14, 2015

New wave of brave brides…

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something… see-through?

New York’s Bridal Fashion Week saw near-naked models strut down the runway in some rather risky designs. It seems the desire to wear these raunchy gowns have grown from the start of the year and now sheer translucent bridal gowns are being welcomed onto the isle. Some of the gowns have a deep plunging neckline, whilst others opt for super thigh high splits or even complete nipple exposure. It is one way to demand the crowds attention and another to push bridal wear into the next millennia.

Is it time to wave goodbye to the big puffy under skirts, long statement trains, lace veils and tiaras??? Surely not… but for those brave another to wear these daring gowns make sure you kitted out with nipple covers and maybe some heavy duty tit tape.

Pretty Little Thing

June 12, 2015

Pretty Little Thing Launch Night at The Sanderson Hotel, London.

I had a great evening with my girl friends at the launch of Pretty Little Thing!

The Prosecco was flowing and the canapés kept on appearing! The venue; ‘The Sanderson Hotel’ in London was a perfect location choice. It was packed with fashionistas, stylists, press, magazine editors, bloggers, celebs, MUA’s and a whole bunch of awesome people. The DJ played all the the right tracks to get everyone in the party mood; it was a great atmosphere.

The photo booth was definitely the highlight of my night… I am a serious sucker for a fancy dress photo booth – what is there not to LOVE?!!!

Lucy Mecklenburgh’s line is cute, fresh, girlie and perfect for summer! I cannot wait to buy myself a new wardrobe for summer 2015.

PrettyLittleThing.com is a women’s online fashion website, offering thousands of the must have looks and trends. The brand has a personal touch from Lucy and offers a different flavour of clothing for the young women. Well worth a look.

Goodie Bag Goss: All launch party guests received a ‘Selfy’ Stick, iphone5 case and a £50 voucher for shopping online at www.PrettyLittleThing.com

Check out the clothes online!!!

P.S – I have more snaps on my Instagram and Twitter 😉

Food Festival On Carnaby St.

July 23, 2014

As a self confessed foodie of course I was going to make my way over to the first food festival taking place on Carnaby Street, Sunday 20th July between the hours of 11am – 6pm.

There was 30 of the area’s best restaurants, bars and cafés who brought along their top notch dishes out onto the streets of Carnaby
It was free to attend and there was a range of £5 taster dishes, one day only offers and free food stands such as ice creams (obviously I made a beeline for the ice cream que… My chosen flavour was Crème brûlée… Mmm

There was also a series of expert cooking demonstrations led by presenter and foodie Hardeep Singh Kohli which was interesting to watch and I was able to pick up a few tips.

I went to check out all the awesome dishes with a couple of girl friends and my brother. We were around the area (Carnaby St. & Regent St. for a couple of hours). Regent St. was also closed off for catwalk shows, dance acts, live music was playing along with various other cool attractions such as a Pimms bus and man made garden.

We had a great day and luckily for us the weather was pretty on point too. Looking forward to attending another food festival soon… mmm maybe a chocolate one? 😀

Zara Fashion – A Bloggers Public Confession

I am absolutely obsessed with Zara fashion wear at the mo… The Spring/Summer 2014 collection is ahhhhmazingggg! The shoes, jackets, leggings, skirts…everything fits very well on my size 6/8 frame and I have friends that report the same. If you are a girl who loves retail therapy then you will already have a number of ZARA items in the wardrobe.

DID YOU KNOW?
Zara is a Spanish clothing and accessories retailer based in Arteixo, Galicia, and founded in 1975 by Amancio Ortega and Rosalía Mera. It is the flagship chain store of the Inditex group, the world’s largest apparel retailer.

Give me less then a minute in any Zara store and watch me walk out with a whole new outfit complete with accessories, shoes and even a bag for banter!

Below are few pieces I am foaming at the mouth for…

One of my favourite outfits right now has to be the dark/pond green leather top and skirt! Love a matchy match combo as seen below.
